*The New Zealand version of Splashdrone 4 (& older models), Fisherman Drones (FD1 & FD1+), Fisherman Max (Max) and Fisherman FD3 are water resistant, which means they will resist the entry of water to an IPX5 level. For technical reasons, some parts of the drone are designed not to be 100% sealed or watertight & therefore the drone should not be submerged under water or landed in the surf. To reduce the effects of salt corrosion, the user is advised to wash any saltwater off with fresh water. Always follow all documentation, videos & instruction manuals that come with the drone.

Please note that the SD4, FD3 and Max controllers are splash-proof, while the FD1 and FD1+ controllers are not water resistant or splash-proof.

** The Swellpro warranty on the SD4, FD1, FD1+, Max and FD3 drone bodies are one year; the warranty for batteries is 6 months; the warranty for propellers and landing gear is 1 month. For more information please go to our warranty page.
